David Marvin

As a strategic leader at APEX, David shapes the firm’s direction and makes key investment decisions. His dedication to the I/DD community comes from a personal passion for advocating for people with special needs and ensuring those who support them earn a livable wage. Beyond his role as an investor, David is a committed husband and father of three who enjoys hunting, fishing and other outdoor adventures. He’s constantly investing in his own growth through coaching and mentorship, and he brings that same spirit of continual improvement to every partnership.

Gina Braden

Gina provides operational leadership and strategic support to APEX’s portfolio companies. With more than 20 years of leadership experience, she is passionate about building strong teams, developing people, and helping organizations achieve sustainable growth. Guided by her faith in God, she believes serving others with excellence creates lasting impact.

For the past decade, Gina has focused on serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), helping organizations strengthen their culture, deliver exceptional care, and improve outcomes for the people they support.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, children, son-in-law, and two grandchildren.

Brian Sunderland

Brian serves as an operating partner at APEX Partner Group. A 17-year career in law enforcement instilled in him a deep sense of service and responsibility. Today, he channels that dedication into operations, market analysis, and helping build sustainable organizations that serve individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Brian is passionate about helping people with IDD live with dignity and independence, and he collaborates closely with partners to build systems that make that possible. Away from work, he enjoys dirt biking, golfing, and exploring the outdoors with his family.

Dan Kish

Dan helps APEX build strong local teams, solve problems, and create the systems needed to grow while prioritizing both the people being served and those providing care. His background includes management consulting, leading two companies through turnarounds, and coaching and advising small-business owners. Dan’s purpose is rooted in glorifying God, and he is passionate about delivering excellent service to the I/DD community and creating workplaces where great people can flourish and find joy in their work. He approaches his work and life with the conviction that every situation can be improved, and every person has the potential to grow. Dan lives in Horseshoe Bend, Idaho, with his wife and four children.
